Description

The Van Walree Prize honours individuals who have made medical research accessible to a wider public.

The biennial prize is awarded to a scientist or journalist who has done an outstanding job of popularising medical or health research, making it accessible to a wider audience. The prize was established in 1987 and consists of EUR 12,000.
