The Tatishchev order «For the Benefit of Fatherland» has been instituted. V.N. Tatishchev was a close associate of Peter the Great, an outstanding public figure, scientist, enlightenment champion, organizer of the ore mining industry in the Urals, is granted to those who are distinguished in diligent work for the benefit of the Russian science, industry and culture.
