a. Open to member with less than 10 years of professional standing after their
postgraduate degree. The certificate of the year of passing post graduation should be
attached.
b. Should be of good standing.
c. Papers should be based on candidate’s original work pertaining to diseases of Ear,
Nose and Throat and must not have been published in any Journal or any other
publications. This should be certified by either Head of the Dept. or Principal of the
Medical College or the Candidate himself should give an undertaking to this effect.
d. Please send four copies, typewritten in double space with liberal margin to Dr.
Rajesh Kalra, Hon. Secretary. The Manuscript will not be returned.
e. The awardee will have to present the paper in person at the ensuing Annual
Conference.
f. The awardee should not have any objection to the publication of the paper in Indian
Journal of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery in part or full at the discretion
of the Editorial Board.
g. The paper should not be suggestive in any form as to who the author is.
h. Decision of the Judges will be final and binding.
i. Only one paper should be submitted.
j. The same paper should not be submitted for AOI, Merck Award.
k. Paper which fail to get the award cannot be read at the Free Paper Session at the
Annual Conference.
