With his collaborators, Fred Hoyle and Jayant Narlikar, Professor Geoffrey R. Burbidge is working on the nature of quasi-stellar objects, the origin of the redshifts in these objects, and on Quasi-Steady State Cosmology, an alternative to the Big Bang theory.
