The Elizabeth Catling Memorial Fund for Archaeological Draughtsmanship, created by a gift of Elizabeth Catling’s family, supports an area of the School’s work in which she regularly shared. Its aim is to encourage excellence in archaeological drawing, including the preparation of finished drawings for publication. It is hoped that awards will help individuals to improve their standards of draughtsmanship and also enable the preparation of a larger number of drawings, of higher quality, than might otherwise have been possible.
