Description

This prize was established to recognize notable exposition and exceptional scholarship in the history of mathematics. The prize is awarded every four years.

2005 : To Harold M. Edwards to pay tribute to his many publications over several decades that have fostered a greater understanding and appreciation of the history of mathematics, especially the theory of algebraic numbers.
