Position

Professor in Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA,
CoDirector and Field Director of the Harappa Archaeological Research Project.
He teaches archaeology and ancient technology.

Thèmes de recherche

His special interest in ancient technologies and crafts has led him to study a broad range of cultural periods in South Asia as well as other regions of the world. Dr. Kenoyer has excavated at Mohenjo-daro and since 1986, he has been the CoDirector and Field Director of the Harappa Archaeological Research Project, a long-term study of urban development in the Indus Valley.
Dr. Kenoyer is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (USA). He is also Co-Director of the Harappa Archaeological Research Project (HARP) and its continuing excavations at the site.
