Human Genetics & Biological Anthropology

- Director of Research Unit E12 / CO9 in Human Biology field since 1996
- Actually, Director of a new Research Unit 05/UR/09-04 entitled : \"Biology and Molecular Anthropology applied to Development and Health\"

Current Teaching Responsibilities:
- Responsible of the teaching of undergraduate courses of Human Genetics (Faculty of Pharmacy of Monastir).
- Responsible of the teaching of Master courses on the Human Genome Analysis (Faculty of Pharmacy of Monastir).
- Responsible of the teaching of Master courses on the Biological Evolution and the Biological Anthropology (Faculty of Medicine of Tunis).

Prizes and awards

- Founder and President of the \"Tunisian Association of Anthropology\" (founded in 2001).

- President founding Editor of the \"International Journal of Modern Anthropology\",founded in 2007.

- Member of the Scientific Council of the commission “Anthropology of the Middle East” in the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES)
